Follow these steps to create links:
- Select a created shape in the image scan by double-clicking it.
- Select text in the XML Editor View by clicking and dragging or by double-clicking (single word) respectively triple-clicking (whole line) or with one click on the XML tag to select the whole XML element. The marking of text and image sections does not have to be effected immediately consecutive. It is also possible to mark a larger quantity of image sections and then link them successively later.
- Create a link by using the
symbol
in the toolbar. After a linkage between image selection and text sequence has been established, the polygonal or rectangular shape in the Image View which has been linked is displayed with a solid line.
- Save the result as a new Object

contains the link information (text and image coordinates, path of
used XML and image files). You can use the button next to
